4 year old fears flying bugs and refuses outside play! HELP!?

Concern by ButterfliesFlutterBy: four 12 months previous fears flying bugs and refuses outdoors play! Assist!?
I know this is the age of creating fears, but this is finding rather hard to deal with. I’m unsure if he truly remembers becoming stung final summer, but regardless, it would seem no make any difference how we comfort him and try to affirm his security, his fear persists. He’ll be external and good until finally even the tiniest of flying insect goes by. He then screams and runs inside, refusing to go back again out. I’m positive this will at some point pass, but becoming the start of summer season, I’m concerned with how extended this stage could very last and how to go about outside activities. (FYI: We are a family members of hikers, campers and are usually outside) Any good advice would be appreciated.
Thank you =)

awww nicely show him that bugs are not frightening by acquiring a fly or a thing crawl on your arm following to him (mind you I dun know how you’d get a fly to do that LOL)
Just discover a way to display him there is practically nothing to be frightened of
What do you feel? Solution underneath!

Well, fear in it’s self is a kind of choice. So you have to choose to relax and face your fears. I myself haven’t been on many planes but I did feel pretty safe on them. Sometimes you get some turbulence but that is very normal and not something that should be feared. I hope that rather then being scared you will look at it as an adventure. I mean just think of it, we can fly to other countries in a day of two’s time. That’s amazing. Much better then months on a boat. Enjoy yourself!
